I-Drive 360 in Orlando

When traveling to Orlando to visit all of our amazing theme parks, we can’t stress enough how important it is that you plan a couple of rest days in between all of the theme park fun! And that doesn’t mean you will be wasting a vacation day by any means. There are plenty of places in Orlando you can visit without having to commit a whole day and hundreds of dollars to. One of our favorites is the I-Drive 360 Entertainment Complex that is located right by our hotel, staySky Suites I-Drive Orlando, on International Drive. There is way too much fun to be had at an affordable price and they really offer entertainment for all ages!

Here’s what they offer:

The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye: Experience Orlando from 400 feet in the air! When you see the Orlando Eye from far away, it looks like a very tall ferris wheel, but the huge wheel is actually an observation deck. Each cabin, or capsule as they call it, can fit up to 20 people and it’s very spacious. The ride lasts from 15 to 20 minutes as the wheel moves very slowly to let you appreciate the view! Try to time your ride with the sunset so you can witness the breathtaking colors that paint the sky on a cloudless day! Also, plan to go on a sunny day as visibility will be better.

Madame Tussauds: You can hang out with your favorite actors, singers, athletes and celebrities at this flawless wax museum. The attention to detail is fascinating. From the fingernails to the eyebrows, these wax figures are so perfectly made that you could easily play a prank on people if the real person stood side by side with their wax figures. The wax figures are also true to size, so it’s really cool to see the height of each of your favorite stars.

Sea Life Aquarium: A very kid-friendly aquarium that contains fish species from the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans! Experience fish, sharks, turtles, stingrays, jelly fish and much more! Kids can grab a cute illustrated booklet to stamp at each station and help guide their adventure under the sea. You can seriously spend a great amount of time admiring the variety of marine life they have, so it’s perfect for a rainy day in Orlando.

In sum, if you are looking for a great place to spend you rest day in Orlando, you have found it at the I-Drive 360 Entertainment Complex.  Start the day off right with a hearty complimentary hot breakfast in our hotel that is served until 10 am, so there’s no rush to rise early. Maybe do some light shopping in the morning or just hang out by our pool to enjoy the FL sunshine and then head on to I-Drive 360 for an afternoon of fun for the whole family.
