Tips for Enjoying Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Friday, November 21, 2014The frosty festivities begin at 7:00 p.m., but ticket holders can enter as early as 4:00 p.m. We highly suggest taking advantage of the early entry so you have the opportunity to ride a few rides and gaze as Queen Elsa makes her holiday debut at Cinderella’s Castle at 6:15 p.m. Plus, the early arrival allows you to eat your dinner before the merrymaking starts.
Complimentary cookies and cocoa will be available throughout the Park for your enjoyment (and warmth)! The lines can be a little lengthy for these tasty treats near the front of the Park, so try bypassing the first cocoa stand as it will most likely be the busiest. The Golden Horseshoe is said to be a good place to get your cocoa and cookies because the lines are not as bad there. The Golden Horseshoe is the building holding the Holiday Hootenanny, which is one of two Character Dance Parties at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
All who attend will want to have a spectacular view of the Holiday Wishes fireworks show, but in actuality the best views are located farther away. If you’re too close to the Castle, you won’t get the grand effect of the show. So grab your loved ones and secure a spot towards the back of the crowd for the best views of all the merry wonderment.
Of course, our best advice in enjoying this Walt Disney World spectacle is to book your stay with us. We offer all the fun and value of staying close to the Park, with transportation and amenities that provide all the home away from home accommodations your family desires!
