Experience Bite30- A  Local Food Event

During the whole month of June, you get to experience a bit of the local Orlando cuisine for less. Orlando Weekly has teamed up with local Orlando restaurants to create Bite30, a special event that offers special prix fixe menus at the participating restaurants.  Here’s how Bite30 work:

1- Pick restaurant of you liking from the menu below.

If you click on the restaurant’s name you’ll be able to see the prix fixe menu they are offering. Lunch is $15 and dinner is $30 and includes one appetizer, one entree and one dessert.

2- Call the restaurant to make a reservation

Depending on when you decide to go, the restaurants could be experiencing a high volume, so to ensure stellar service, we suggest that you make a reservation in advance.

3- Ask for the Bite30 menu

This is the most important part. Upon arrival you must tell your waiter that you will like to see the Bite30 menu. The menu will have significantly less options than the regular menu, so make sure to check the menus online before heading to to explore a place if you are a picky eater. Also, some restaurants seem to offer a greater bang for your buck, so checking the menus online will help you see if your $30 will be wisely spent.

Most restaurants are located in downtown Orlando, so that gives you an excuse to go visit this area of town that many tourists overlook. Downtown Orlando is about 20 minutes from our hotel, staySky Suites Idrive Orlando, if you have a car. Happy eating, everyone!
